The Spanish Law defines residence permit as a document that allows you to stay in Spain and that it can be renewed on the request of the party concerned, if the conditions prevail under which it was granted. Residence permit is independent from the N.I.E. which we will refer to in a different section.

There are several circumstances in which residence can be obtained, but we basically consider residence to be that of a person who is a national of an EU country who has acquired a property and intends to live permanently in Spain.

The applicant will have to prove that he/she has the means to live during the period of the residence, or that they have a regular income, and have guaranteed medical insurance or reciprocal medical care.

We provide you with a form detailing all the documentation required, and we will process your residence paperwork as soon as you remit the completed form and documentation to us.

The administrative cost of this service is NOT included in the “all-in-one package” which we offer to our clients and will depend on the place of residence and your own personal circumstances.
